Melting point: 122~124 ℃. Soluble in solvents such as ethanol, chloroform, acetone, benzene, etc., but insoluble in water.

Product Usage and Precautions

This product is a hindered type of light stabilizer, which does not have the ability to absorb ultraviolet rays. However, it can capture the active free radicals generated by polymer degradation, decompose hydroperoxides, and transfer the energy of excited molecules. The light stabilization effect is 24 times that of general ultraviolet absorbers. This product is suitable for plastics such as polyethylene and polyethylene. It has good compatibility with resins and good processing performance. In addition to its photostability, it also has good thermal oxygen aging resistance. However, this product has poor heat resistance and is not suitable for long-term use in hot water media. In addition, it is best to process and use this product at a temperature below 270 ℃, as weight loss is more severe above this temperature.
