Character: Pure 6PPD is a white solid that will gradually oxidize into a brown solid when placed in air. Industrial products are in the form of purple brown to black brown particles or flakes, and will slowly clump when the temperature exceeds 35-40 ℃. Soluble in organic solvents such as gasoline, benzene, acetone, ethyl acetate, dichloroethane, carbon tetrachloride, toluene, ethanol, etc., insoluble in water.

Usage: 6PPD is a para phenylenediamine rubber antioxidant. It has good compatibility with rubber, is not prone to frost spraying, volatilization, and low toxicity. It has excellent resistance to oxygen, ozone, bending, cracking, and sunlight cracking, and has a strong inhibitory effect on harmful metals such as copper and manganese. It is suitable for various types of synthetic rubber and natural rubber. It has good dispersibility in the rubber material, has a softening effect on the rubber material, and has little effect on vulcanization. It can be used for various rubber products such as tires, and also as a thermal oxygen stabilizer for polyethylene, polypropylene, and acrylic resins.
